Return & Refund Policy
At Animated Apparel, we want you to be completely happy with every order. If something isn't quite right, our return process is designed to be simple, fair, and transparent.
Returns – 30-Day Window
You may request a return for up to 30 days from the day your order is delivered. To be eligible, the item must be unused and unworn, in the same condition in which it reached you, with all original tags attached and in its original packaging. We'll also need your order number or proof of purchase.
To get started, simply email us at hello@animatedapparelcompany.com with your order number and a short explanation of why you'd like to return the item. Once we've reviewed and approved your request, we'll send you clear instructions on where and how to ship the parcel back.
Please note that items sent back without an approved return request first cannot be processed. If anything is unclear, reach out before returning your order.
Damaged, Faulty or Incorrect Items
We recommend inspecting your order as soon as it arrives. If your item turns out to be defective, was damaged in transit, or you've received the wrong product, contact us straight away so we can assess the situation and make it right for you.
Return Shipping Costs
Unless your item is faulty, damaged on arrival or was sent to you in error, the cost of returning an item is the customer's responsibility. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot be responsible for returns that are lost in transit. Where a return is the result of our mistake or a defective product, we'll cover the return shipping cost.
Items We Cannot Accept
Some products fall outside our standard return policy, including:
- Personalized or made-to-order items
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers or plants)
- Personal care and beauty products, for hygiene reasons
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids or gases
Sale items and gift cards are also non-refundable. If you're unsure whether your item qualifies, get in touch and we'll be glad to clarify.
Exchanges
We're happy to exchange an item within 30 days of delivery — for example, for a different size, color, or product — as long as it meets our return conditions (unused, with tags, in its original packaging). To request an exchange, email us at hello@animatedapparelcompany.com with your order number and the item you'd like instead, and we'll guide you through the next steps.
If the item you want is in high demand, the fastest way to secure it is to return your original order (once approved) and place a new order separately. If you'd prefer us to arrange a direct exchange instead, just let us know and we'll take care of it.
Refunds
Once we've received and inspected your return, we'll notify you whether the refund has been approved. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method, normally within 10 business days. Do keep in mind that your bank or card provider may need additional time to process the refund and show it on your statement.
If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you still haven't received it, please contact us at hello@animatedapparelcompany.com.
